15:05 omg it's amazing you mentioned Pokemon, Zak, because after I started watching your Apollo Justice videos I got Let's Go Pikachu, and I made up a headcanon that my pikachu is Apollo and my character is Trucy trying to save him from the video game 😄 It works really well since the pikachu acts kinda human-like and you can dress it up in a reasonable likeness to Apollo's suit. I also named my rapidash Athena (because she likes to run, get it?) and made sure she knew double kick. So yeah, I have actually summoned Athena with Apollo behind her (on the trainer's shoulder)!

Besides, if he really does have a deep fear of returning to space, either Japanifornia NASA doctors probably wouldn't let him back on anyway, or he could simply retire as, you know, a national hero. While that algorithm-generated summary is objectively hilarious, the fact that it exists is just plain really really annoying to me. I wish companies would stop trying to push algorithm generation programs into everything they can, and also that people would stop calling them AI. Apologies for the mini-rant, this was my first exposure to this "feature" and my gut reaction was combination of "haha!" and "oh god why?" Clearly, Athena was late because she had to go change her outfit. The Larry vibes here have to be intentional, right? I had the same thought even before you said it. Also, Butz Aldrin is incredible. My thought with Starbuck is both the star bit and that it could be a Battlestar Galactica reference. The localizers definitely could have done something like that. An initial feeling I have is that, since we already know this trial ends in an explosion, they could very well have Starbuck be the twist actual killer without having to end things on a guilty verdict. They really doubled down (or triple, quadruple, etc.) on Apollo's whole "I'm fine!" bit in this game. In the first game, I think he only said it once or twice at the start, so I'd always been wondering why people made such a big joke out of it, but I'm seeing why now. Judge would totally believe in astrology and think there's a research center set up to study it. That movie poster is amazing. These jokes are really coming nickel-back-to-back here =) Also, there is absolutely no way a real launch pad would be that close to a building or basically anything not safe to be destroyed, since the explosion from liftoff is Not Small. Even in death Dirt Dirt has perfect Protagonist Hair(tm). I didn't even know there was a Supermain variant with a dog! Zune returns! My guess for the real killer is the director. With a name like Yuri Cosmos, they're definitely a character of interest, and also the only seemingly potential suspect other than our client. So, the only logic supporting the interpretation that the victim was already dead in the video is based on the assumption that Starbuck was the killer. If we remove that assumption, there is absolutely no reason why it couldn't be one helping the other. Additionally, we have no way to identify who is who, so I'm betting Clay was actually the one carrying Starbuck here, and that will turn out to be one of the big twists of the case. I note he also made sure to grab his special meteorite container. This whole five seconds thing is very silly and funny. Given how this series does things, I'd be entirely willing to bet Blackquill already has the real truth figured out and is playing a role to lure out the real culprit, especially considering how oddly he was behaving at the start. But is this level of theatrics really necessary? Oh who am I kidding, it's an Ace Attorney game, of course it is!

It's okay Zak, Tama is the middle evolution for Taka, easy mistake to make. The breakdown was great and all, but having broken teeth before, it did give me some nasty sympathy pains. Well done, animators! There is one thing that bothers me though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to the timeline of the story, Athena has faced off against Blackquill twice. But because the first case of the game is an "in medias res" opening, this means that she had a difficult time against Payne, even though she's already squared off with a much stronger, cleverer, more intimidating opponent, and won both times. First time solo or no, freakin' Payne should have been a nothingburger for her! I agree, Means would have been an amazing reveal if he hadn't been telegraphed as the villain as clearly, early, and consistently as he was. In fact, if they'd just A) pared back on his "ends justify the means" catchphrase (or, heck, not even used it), B) only shown his closed-mouth smile during the investigation, and C) reserved the unnerving toothy grin as his pressured animation, I daresay that would have been enough to throw most players' suspicion off him until much later on. Junie, on stage: hehe, Apollo's looking at me. Narrator: he was not looking at her.

You say that Solomon has the Larry Butz energy at the beginning, but to be fair, in a world where there are literally only two attorneys that have any wins under their belt and hundreds of undefeated prosecutors, I'd be pretty depressed about my chances of getting acquitted too.

you can tell this is before turnabout countdown because Apollo isn't wearing his arm bandages that were the result of the explosion. Though it was nice of the ER to give him arm bandages that matched the eye patch he was wearing for non-plot-related reasons already

_ To be fair a spaceship isn't something you could replace in a short time. So *IF* StarBuck was the one that ble it up, it could give him time to come up with another excuse to not go into space _ Although I don't believe a guy too afraid of going into space would have the courage to handle bombs, Also why didn't they do a blood test on Starbuck, that would be proof that he was taking the medicine _ If Starbuck was the killer, leaving the body in the *EXPLODING* rocket is the smartest move because it could destroy any potential evidence on Clay body, the only person benefiting from moving the body is a potential secret killer framing Starbuck(the guy next to Clay's body). _ If I was the lawyer in this case, I would be too distracted by my fear of having a live bomb in the same room as me to concentrate on the case. So prop to everyone in that room
